On several occations I have set my rotation preference to \"Clockwise.\" I then update from within BOINC, and everything is fine. - For a while - Then a little while later I notice that the planet is not spinning, I check the preferences, and I find that rotation is set to \"None.\" The problem is that I have not made a change. Any thoughts on this would be helpful. |

I\'ll fix this right away. It\'ll make it into the next build. I\'ve taken out counter clockwise rotation. (I not about to disprove Galileo\'s theory). In any case, you have to force an update for the changes to take effect. I.e after making the change, from the cleint - switch to the work tab highlight the project and select update. |

I\'ll fix this right away. Sorry, but the earth rotates counter-clockwise on its axis. You have only to look at a map (or the graphic) to see that since the sun rises in the east for New York before it rises for the rest of the country, this must be so. So if you are going to update the model, remove the clockwise rotation and make the counter-clockwise rotation work. |

Sorry, but the earth rotates counter-clockwise on its axis. It depends on your perspective - try looking at it from the south. Perhaps it is better to drop the term, and just to talk about the right and wrong ways. |
