How do I change my settings so that my computer will download more than one work unit per day? The work units that I have downloaded so far take about 45 minutes to complete. Then when I try to download more wu\'s I get a message that I can only download one work unit per day. How do I change the number of work units that I am allowed to download per day? P.S. I am using the WIN98 on my computer and BOINC ver 5.2.13 with Classic Seti@Home if this makes any difference? |

CPDN does NOT work on Windows 98. It also takes weeks, to months to do a WU. You are sending back bad data.

See this Sticky in the Questions and Problems:Windows forum for more about Win98 compatibility. Note that they are trying to make Win98/ME work with the next experiment, but so far stability is still a concern. |

The latest on Win98/ME is that it STILL fails. Possibly something to do with them being 16 bit systems, with some add-ons to make them work as 32 bit systems. The Fortran code may need a real 32 bit system to work properly. |
