Hi everyone, I one of the Beeb crunchers who will be migrating over here as our BBC CCE site is wound down.

I\'ve got 5 greenie team mates over here somewherebut I don\'t see them on the boards. This is very unusual because they are a very (VERY) Chatty bunch.

Anyway, any Greenies out there, don\'t be shy.

Gotta go look at comets. see ya

Most people hang out on the phpBB forum (http://www.climateprediction.net/board) rather than the Boinc forum, these tend to be quiet apart from technical queries.

I'm a volunteer and my views are my own.

Good luck with the last 10%
Cheers
Chris.

To get it to appear, the two projects need to be synchronised:

* Use EXACTLY the same email on both (possibly case sensitive depending on server version)

* Attach to both projects simultaneously on both machines, and then \'update\' each in turn a couple of times.

This allows the projects to communicate via your PC, and you\'ll then end up with the same CPID on both (this appears near the bottom of the \'your account\' page).

Once you have synchronised the CPIDs, wait 24 hours or so and hopefully things will start to appear. You\'ll also notice external stats sites such as BoincStats or teams use the same mechanism to synchronise.

Hi Haraldo
I just found this but I\'m not sure if I can post here. I had to change my name on the other boards so I am \'Camomile\' there! Quite mad, but then that is a Greenie characteristic after all!
See you
Sue

Chris..help!!!

Hey.. where are we???? I\'ve been restricting my posts pretty
much to Greenies Migration thread Haraldo set up, and have wandered
around many threads ( seen Haraldos\' comet piccies) and bumped into
Greenies here and there. Had a trip over to the team Scotland thread
with Marj and Lizzy ( interesting kilt videos...).

Now just saw Haraldos\' post so clicked on it and ended up here,
wherever that is..life is a learning process:)

Chrissy

edit: Have got my beeb avatar here as opposed to humpy on the \"other\"
message board????? And yes this looks and acts like the beeb boards..

LIGHT is dawning this is the CRUNCHERS forum Haraldo was talking about
in TGP 21....so many forums..

Hi Les,

Exhausting all this forum trawling..why can\'t we be just one big happy bunch??
( Yeah..I know why.. but I just adore simplicity)

Now, how would you know that Haraldo, unless you were everywhere too? ;-) Always nice to meet you!

Yes I\'m quite sure LogPile - and welcome to this forum, always good to see old friends in these somewhat scary new places! This one\'s awfully quiet this week though.

Is the avatar your family crest, or did you just choose it because \"better late ...\"? ;-)
