Yep!! Though my Mac is over on predictor right now, I brought an Athlon 1900 over to this project. We have at least one other team member with his PowerMac running over here as well, and several watching to see how the beta goes, and waiting for public release.

Just ran the client on my slower computers for a few minutes, here the results:

AMD K6-2+ 500 MHz: 22.5 sec/ts --> 6.8 month/model
VIA C3 533 Mhz: 34.5 sec/ts --> 10.4 month/model
Pentium MMX 200 MHz (100MHz FSB,RAM): 49 sec/ts --> 14.7 month/model

The K6 isn't so bad, i think.

P4 Celeron 2.3GHz at 2.76GHz
512 MB PC133 RAM (at 160MHz)
Windows 2000 SP4

5.07s/TS

Weird to see in the list that there's a Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz just two CPUs above me. Someone must not have done his benchmarks. ;)

Hi, the credits are based on model-years done (from trickle and ultimately end-of-run information), so it won't be based on benchmarks & cpu time etc. I think this is a fairer way to get "BOINC equivalence" with SETI & Predictor cobblestones, etc? I've just revamped the stats so they should be more accurate (i.e. "claimed_credit" is incremental based on the last trickle received, but only if that trickle is the maximum for the run since trickles can come out of order if you're offline, etc).

Not only revamped them. I think they went missing. Or at least, for my account I can't see any of the Results / Work units anymore. :(

Same problem here Jorden. Also is it normal for two different machines to give the same "trickle" credit? Both of my machines got 75.61.

well for a consecutive trickle, i.e. we processed the last one and a new one came in at 10802, that would be 75.61 cobblestones, so yes. I think the missing numbers were when I reset the cache of web pages, but they should all be updated by now.

Erm no. Even when I force my browser to load the page uncached, it's still telling me the results pages are temporarily disabled. ;)

I've got a PowerBook and a Windoze machine crunching climate...

My G3 is doing SETI/Predictor. When there's a BOINC version that can handle climate and SETI, I'll move hubby's G4 to climate, also.
