At least that task puts a date-spread on when trickle-to-credit was last run: sometime between 07 Aug 2014 23:36:32 and 14 Aug 2014 14:41:34.

I can narrow it down a fraction more to between 08 Aug 2014 13:06:29 and 14 Aug 2014 14:35:20 Though as on the statistics tab on boinc manager it show a dot on the 11th, almost certainly some time on that day.

Seemingly more appropriate credits have since registered... :D

And, I see that internal credit is moving along.

My credits just went up from 173,000 to 9,890,610. Not that I mind of course... but this seems rather a lot ...

Yep, more than 2.6M instead of just above 100k with me.

I'm kind of delighted! ;)

Additional info:

On my account page it reads ...

HadSM3 Model-Years 17,433.28
HadSM3 Complete (45-year) Runs 387.41

... which in my personal estimation seems to me messed up too, where as on the page which lists my tasks, everything seems updated correctly and plausible.

Definitely an over-correction.
I went from 5 Million to 2.5 Billion today!
Not that I'm complaining!

A separate thread was opened on this problem. It, too, was reported to staff. Given that it's evening in the UK don't expect resolution until morning, UK time, at the earliest.

Enjoy the largesse while it lasts; it'll surely evaporate as quickly as it appeared.

Hi Everyone,

I have had a go at fixing the problem, and hopefully the credit bonanza is over.

CPDN do their credit a little differently from most other projects, and last night the script ran for the first time on the new database server - suffice to say there were a few glitches :-)

I have checked the script and run it again, and I hope things are back to how they should be.

If there are any disparities, please do let us know.

Thank you. My credit looks a LOT more reasonable now for how many tasks I've completed. :)

Even though the CPDN credit value seems fixed, it has really bollixed up the Statistics page within BOINC. On mine, there is a sharp spike covering 3 days running from the 5,000,000-plus credit total I should have to just under 80,000,000, which is - of course - absurd.
