OK. Someone has some subtraction homework to do. My current cobblestone count here is...(wait for it) 398,029,544,551. Now, I'd love to actually have that figure, but alas, it must be corrected :) hope it doesn't get changed before running on at least one stats site :)

Is that all you've got. I have 5,531,729,197,210.
:)

And, as at the moment the credit scripts have to be run manually, these bloated credits WON'T get exported.
But you can save a copy of your cpdn certificate (blue menu to the left, 3 from the bottom), so that you can tell others.

161,727,400,635,840 for mine. I have no idea how to say that in words!
and 139,732.47 sextillion Floating Point operations seems like another impossible number.

I thought my August 21 Certificate was nice to have, but that was a mere 41.07 sextillion FP ops. so this one will replace it on my wall. :)

Since I'm retired, the only one who will see it is me and since I know the REAL number, I guess I'm just kidding myself anyway. Ah well, what's the matter with having a little bit of fun.

The real reason I do this crunching is to contribute to a project that may help the world in which my soon to be born great-granddaughter will live. I like to think that by investing in this project, I will leave her a scientific legacy.

It also feels good to be a member of a community of like-minded people.
Thanks for your advice and encouragement guys and girls!

I've just thought of something: have a look at Top Participants in the menu to the left.

...looks like the credit-calculating script got crossed up with a prime-number generator...

...and i thought i would be saving paper for a few centuries !!!

Well, looking at my Total & RAC, and the fact that I only run one PC, I've now been contributing to CPDN for 8,000,014 years.

Just call me Dr Who ;-)

Congratulations to the trillionaires! I didn't know when I joined this project I would be surrounded by such super ambitious crunchers. I have quite a bit of catching up to do. Too bad we can't keep the extra points. Happy crunching everyone.

I don't have the credentials that all you guys have but from being 85051 in the world I'm now 44th in terms of RAC! All that with just 2 days of crunching after a long time away. Moreover, this incredible achievement was done with a laptop of 4 cores!
Thank you for making me feel great! :)

Well, guess it was presumptuous of me to assume this problem only affected me :) Was funny while it lasted, though.

Apparently, somebody didn't get your memo... http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=projmain

Looks like CPDN is dwarfing even BitcoinUtopia

I wish there were a way to undo this, actually, because it's messed up my best day, highest world position, etc., on BOINCstats. Not much in the scheme of things, I realize.

After seeing a message about not having enough HDD space to run several
simulations, on my 1 computer an I7-2600; 16GByte DDR 3; 1600MHz.
INTEL BG67DP mobo; 2 AMD/ATI HD 5870 GPU's a COOLERMASTER case and PSU
1KWatt, when running at 100% CPU and both GPU's active, SETI & EINSTEIN
it draws 475 Watt, according to a Kill-A-Watt, I added more Disk-space.
Off which I've enough, 500GB BOOT HDD WIN7; 64 bit and 3 x 1TByte HDD's,
also an 1,5TByte USB3.0 back-up drive.

My RAC is 673,36 and my total is 354.819.424,00 ? Something appears not
quite right ;^) .

I'm sure there will be some explanation. . .

Yes, here in what passes for the "official" thread about credit issues. You'll need to go back a month or so to Jonathan's post.

Perhaps there should be a "Sticky" about Credit issues?
It MIGHT reduce the number of threads generated about Credit.
If not, it would be an easy place to direct enquiries in the future.

Yes, I knew there was an archived thread on the topic.

As I recall it included some comments about problems that don't get *fixed* but rather patched so they resurface periodically....

It is unfortunate when a project that seriously lacks the resources to fix a problem once, ends up needing to fix it multiple times.
