Then you're one of a few people who wont be able to upload these. I don't know what causes the problem in this case, but I suspect that the only reasonable solution is to Abort that model. For what it's worth, there were 2 more batches of Mex models in August, and I ran about a dozen over 3 computers, and uploaded all files without any problems. And all without having to use a cc_config file. |

In BOINC Manager you can enable debugging of HTTP conversations by typing <Ctrl>+<Shift>+F, clicking on the "http_debug" checkbox to make it ticked and clicking OK (to disable the debug repeat that process, this time removing the "http_debug" checkbox tick). I have applied Thyme Lawn's debug instruction and attempted an upload of a MEX25 zip that has been stuck with me for weeks. However, when I include the Event Log readout in my post to this thread, I get disconnected from the forum with an error message. Is this in itself a clue? |

Hi Vitalii That contains this line: 19.09.2016 22:50:06 | | [http] [ID#0] Received header from server: HTTP/1.1 302 Found It should say HTTP/1.0 (As per the 'title' of that option.) Which means that the cc_config isn't correct. 1) You may have the file in the wrong place, or 2) You may have used a word processor type editor, which inserts extra linefeed/carriage characters at the end of lines. Either way, you should now have a single cc_config file, with the manually entered code PLUS the new code inserted by clicking on that new option. If not, perhaps you can use the BOINC option to locate the one that I originally posted, and click on it to add it to the cc_config file. |

Hi Lockleys It probably means that you tried to post the entire Event Log here, and exceeded a limit. Use the Windows short cuts to select a small, relevant section. Click on the 1st line Scroll down to the last line. Press and hold the Shift key. Click on the last line that you want. Then use the option: Copy selected lines. It should only be necessary to copy 20-30 lines at most. Also see my previous reply to Vitalii. |

The next line is indicating that the connection was reset 26 seconds later due to a receive failure. My guess is that it's indicating a problem on that upload server (upload6.cpdn.org (158.97.9.11)). Enabling "http_xfer_debug" will directly indicate whether any data has being transferred. I didn't suggest it earlier because it generates a message for each section of data sent to the server which very quickly mounts up (in my case it's about 180 messages per second for an upload). The messages don't identify the project and the ID# is the only way to tie them to the original request (i.e. enabling http_xfer_debug with http_debug disabled is meaningless). The following messages are selected from my previous post with a couple of http_xfer_debug messages included and lots of lines removed. I was mostly interested in the HTTP level, but I should have chosen one of the others. I'd really like a clue to where the problem(s) is/are. It seems to only have affected the big Mex25 zips, unless lots of people are aborting them silently. |

Thanks Vitalii, that's definitely appears to be a server problem (there are no [http_xfer] messages when the file content should be being transmitted to the server). I'll notify the project team. Progress so far: Vitalii is still using HTTP 1.1 Lockleys are now using HTTP 1.0, which is the point of that cc_config option. But both have: HTTP error: Failure when receiving data from the peer So it's either 2 problems, or it's been something more subtle all along. Back to thinking and talking. :( |
