okey, so I went to "https://www.cpdn.org" and pushed the 'subscribe' button on this thread, lets see if I get some emails.

I got individual emails from 7 subscribed threads, then I changed it to "On my Account page (no email)", but the only thing that I got there was on the list of subscribed threads on the front page of this message board. (Time of the latest post.)
I'm now set for "In a single daily email". I don't know when that will be, but I can wait. :)

... I got subscription e-mails for these two posts, so it does seem to be working. The absence of e-mails on my part must be that all my subscribed threads haven't had any attention recently. It isn't, of course, necessary to subscribe to see new posts, it just helps if a quick alert/response is needed.

When the new secure site was created, it was from the latest version of the BOINC server code, so if anything had gone missing on the old site, it's probably back again. Perhaps in a modified form if the code has changed how that part works now.

Just wondering something as I just posted a to a thread.

When I posted to the thread for the first time, I noticed that I was not automatically subscribed, I had to actually hit the subscribe button.

In the past, I've a feeling that when I first posted to a thread I was automatically subscribed, but happy to be corrected on that one.

If this is the case, it could be why we are feeling the subscriptions are not working correctly.

Subscribing is DIY.

And it seems that the option "In a single daily email " either doesn't work well, or it's cancelled if the person looks at the subscribed thread in the meantime.
(It worked once for me, but not since.)
