Message 56056 - Posted: 13 Apr 2017, 14:00:17 UTC

I ran a project continuously from 13th March to 26th march and it uploaded and showed successfully in my event log but is showing as pending on the internet.
I have received 2 more today. Is it worth continuing with these 2 as I seem to have lost 19,000 points as the first must have disappeared and the same may happen with these 2 which are scheduled for 3 days each

is showing as pending on the internet.

Pending is something that the BOINC part of the software provides.
It's not used by this project, which has it's own custom code for providing information needed by the project.

I seem to have lost 19,000 points

Can you provide a link to this model, as all of those in your list have credit except the one's that you're working on.
(And of course, the one that crashed after about 6 minutes.)

That's this one: t760

Unfortunately, that task is suffering from the problem discussed in this thread, which has drifted a bit of topic towards the end.

And yes, any and all tasks may/can suffer from this. (Got some myself.)
But this is only about finishing things off nicely at "our" end. The data that was crunched during all of those days is safely on the server in the research centre that sent that data set, in this case a university in Oregon USA.

I'll have another talk with the project people about this, but it'll have to be after Easter.

Recently, when some models "Report", this message gets lost. I suspect that it's something to do with the "transitioner" not running at that moment. Then, a few days later, the status gets changed to Abandoned.
However, all of the zip data files have by then been safely stored on the project's server, and all the credit due will be/has been allocated.

So your computer's work wasn't wasted.
