Also often getting database is down message and it is taking up to four or five goes to access pages on site.

If you add Tasks by Application it does not equal Tasks in Progress.

Do we have missing Applications or is the Total not working ?

They removed some of the old applications from the listing, but Tasks in Progress continues to count some "ongoing" tasks from those old applications. Confusing...yes.
