After a few problems, I think I\'ve succeed in launching the Boinc in terminal which is now working :

But notihng else. Is there any graphs, picture or anythig else visual that correspond to these Terminal lines?

What you are seeing does mean that you are running successfully. The TS 000002 part means time slice #2. After you do 10802 time slices then it will trickle and you will get some credit. The AVG=12.86 is the average time for time slice. This number will drop as there is some overhead when the client first starts up. That is still pretty slow, so it will be a while before that first trickle.

To see the graphics of what is going on, open another terminal. Then go to your boinc folder, then /projects/climateprediction.net/. Then enter ./viz. This will open up a globe with the model that you are working on represented. If you hit h, then it will show you some commands.

ok so I am new to terminal and this took me a while to figure out how to get my map. If you are having problems following the above answer, here is the slightly dumbed down version of what i did.

In Terminal, go File "New Shell"
type "cd " (space after cd) and dragged my boinc climate folder into terminal, and hit return.

type "cd " (space after cd) and dragged the climateprediction.net subfolder into terminal, and hit return.

type "./viz" and hit return

you should see some lines come up and a new window will pop up with a globe.

This works fine on a 1Ghz Powerbook, but on my 450Mhz Cube, which also has other programs running, the visual comes up with the scale but without the globe on Temperature, and just with an outline globe on Precipitation and Pressure. is that just lack of processing power? Both running 10.3.7.
