Jurisica Lab has a website still accessible when there are problems with the WCG website at https://www.cs.toronto.edu/~juris/jlab/wcg.html There the operational status tab has more detailed explanations of outages and plans for fixing problems. |

I can confirm that some of the changes regarding apparent network congestion that were mentioned in the Operational Status page have had a significant effect on my ARP1 upload times -- instead of 25KB/second with two uploads at once I'm now seeing 100KB/second (or better) with two uploads at once. It's a shame they couldn't get it sorted earlier (as we seem to be dealing with the last retries for the current tranche of work), but it bodes better for the future :-) Cheers - Al. |
