21) Message boards : Number crunching : Zero / Negative Credit Message 58461 Posted 23 Jul 2018 by Brummig	I did look at that thread before posting, but it appears (to me) to be discussing credit export, which (as it says) was achieved using a script that before the outage ran weekly (because otherwise it couldn't complete in time). However, I'm talking about the individual task credit, as reported on the CPDN website. That in the past wouldn't be at zero upon successful completion. If I have to wait for a different script to be fixed, or there is some other reason why successfully completed tasks now have zero credit when previously they didn't, then please say so (if you know) rather than criticising on the assumption that I haven't checked other threads first.

Worse still, according to the statistics tab on BOINC Manager, my total credit went down by a large amount after the task was completed. This is on top of a huge negative credit I received after the CPDN servers came back online. What on Earth is going on, and how do I get this corrected?

I used to know someone who could read Baudot tapes as if it was text on a sheet of paper.

Address Load ... Clear ... Continue (PDP8), and hope it hadn't forgotten the loader or it was frantic switch-toggling time. Forty years on, and I can still remember it. Has that been tried on the CPDN server?
25) Message boards : Number crunching : Nearly there Message 58306 Posted 29 Jun 2018 by Brummig	I've just lost 43,376 credits from CPDN, a drop of 15%. That's small beer compared with zaphod80013, but it's significant enough to result in my Boinc world ranking dropping 699 places today, instead of its usual increase. Will credits be restored? And I still can't report my last WU as complete, even though some people have been, according to Boinc Stats.
