I have a slow computer that i\'m running CPDN on, that when the project is running you cannot do much of anything else on the computer (even printing goes to a near stop). I am trying to set the preferences so that this computer is ID\'ed as Work, with related setting that stops processing when the comp is in use, but it keeps defaulting back to Home. Is this a known issue, or what can be done for this? |

The server side part of this problem should be fixed in the lastest source version. I think CPDN has updated their servers recently enough for this to be fixed. The client side is still broken. CCv4.12 will be the first version with an attempt to fix this issue, whenever it is released. For now the workaround is to set general prefs to suspend as needed and delete all venue specific prefs.
John Keck -- BOINCing since 2002/12/08 -- |
