Hoepfully, this was just an isolated incident. Thanx everyone for your feedback. <img src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/cpdn/stats.php?userID=35&trans=off"><a href="http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/thefinalfrontear/index.html"> Team Site Link</a>"The world is a progressively realized community of interpretation." |

Running 4.13 on two HT machines (8 cpu's in all) with both CPDN and SaH. All working perfectly. G. |

well, is cpdn officially supported by 4.13 or not? because at boinc cp.net the newest client is still 4.09. what does carl say concerning 4.13 vs cpdn? |

Might be useful to have an answer to this... a lot of people are going to be finishing WU's around now, due to BOINC being made official at the end of August. I've got two machines finished today! Both running virtually 24/7! I think I might just take the plunge and update to 4.09 and leave it at that for the moment ;-) Better safe than sorry, as I am not sure I am able to problem solve that competently... Ciao... |

Hmmm. I don't understand, but I think 4.50=4.09. I looked "Boinc 4.50" on Google and got the following thread: http://forums.teamphoenixrising.net/showthread.php?t=25946&page=2&pp=20 The crucial phase being this: "Ok... that is the 'CoreVersion' 4.50... and yep.. you get 4.09 from it.. " Hope this helps....! TRW |

No. If you are going to complain, then DON'T DOWNLOAD IT! As is clear, it is alpha so it is untested and it is quite likely that it will screw up your CPDN model when it reaches 95% :) I really don't understand why everyone keeps posting links to the alpha site to download it. The alpha client should stay in alpha testing until it is ready to be deployed IMHO. I might even suggest that berkeley put the alpha download into a section of the alpha site so that you have to log in to the alpha project before you can download it. But that is just me :) <br> ---------------------------- A member of <a href="team_display.php?teamid=45">The Knights Who Say Ni!</a> Yet another stats page: <a href="http://boinc-kwsn.no-ip.info">http://boinc-kwsn.no-ip.info</a> |

But that > is just me :) Sometimes there is a valid reason for a recomendation that some users get the Alpha code to test a problem that they have been having, and this removes the usefulness of password protecting the Alpha code. The Alpha test group is very small, and the bug reports are done by email (this email list is by invitation only). There have been a rather large number of emails describing problems with 4.50 and 4.51 over the last week. 4.51 fixed a crash that was easy to cause in 4.50, but there are still a large number of problems with 4.51 that need to be fixed before it is released from Alpha. <a href="http://www.boinc.dk/index.php?page=user_statistics&project=cpdn&userid=13"><img border="0" height="80" src="http://13.cpdn.sig.boinc.dk?188"></a> |
