I have the impresseion that the computation is waiting if the scheduler wants to contact the site and exchange information and no internet connection is active. |

There is a bug in the BOINC client that can cause this. If you are running the GUI client select disable network access from the file menu except when you are actually connected. This setting is not persistant and will need to be reset any time the client/computer is started. But it aint that bad if boinc tries to connect. The connection will just time out and boinc will retry in a few minutes at first and hours later Oops, boinc sorted on most common question. Sorry for this post :D |
