Hi, I\'m settled into a comfortable routine now, running CPDN, Seti, LHC, Predictor (if it comes back on line), on a few computers. I try to quickly flick around all the main news/status pages of these projects every few days, to see if there is news I should know, like a recommended client or Boinc upgrade, a new visualization tool, a major error uncovered, a paper/article published, or failing any of that a regular confirmation that all is well with the project. It would be great if the CPDN (and all Boinc/DC) sites had a page with this \"essential update for the busy user\". The CPDN news is too sporadic for me, is what I\'m saying. The Folding@Home folks are pretty good with this, there\'s always something only a few days old on their site to reassure you they\'re on the ball and the project is healthy. There you go, a viewpoint from the \"settled-in\" user, wants his distr. computing news real easy :=) Best Regards, Greg E. |
