The ClimatePrediction WU models are calculated so slowly that you cannot watch them evolve through the model. how about a feature that uses the WU info stored by BONIC prior to its transmition back to ClimatePrediction.net to produce a time accelerated animation of the model you have just created? I dont know if this is achievable within BONIC itself or whether it would be best as an \"add on\" in the same vain as seti map viewer. Not being more \"techie\" than being able to turn my computer on and navigating around the net im not sure if this is \"easy\" or not! Please let me know! anyway what do you think? Most people like to get the numbers crunched - but its nice to keep track of your progress and see some fruits of you labour occasionally. |

There are various "add-ons" for the "classic CPDN" Windows client such as Martin Sykes' (who is around here I think) great program and our IDL visualisation package. I need to do a bit of work to get them to run with BOINC but it is definitely something to look forward to in the future. |
