Ever since I changed to 4.09; I get the following messages...

--- - 2004-10-18 16:16:12 - Can\'t resolve hostname climateprediction.net (valid name, no data record of requested type)
climateprediction.net - 2004-10-18 16:16:12 - Couldn\'t read master page for climateprediction.net: error -113
climateprediction.net - 2004-10-18 16:16:12 - Master file fetch failed

Nor can I communicate to CP. The WU continues to run, but soon it will be completed and what will happen then I do not know.

I don't have a clue as how to apply that..... guess this is too much over my head.... great idea. not user friendly enough however.... I am willing to share my computer; not interested in becoming a system administrator...

1) Exit BOINC. Search for the file "account_climateprediction.net.xml" on the partition that you install BOINC, open the file with an ASCII editor (such as NotePad / Vi), change the 2nd line in the file which starts with to "http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc" without the quotes. Save and Exit. Restart BOINC. or

2) Exit BOINC, upgrade to <a href="http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/download.php">BOINC 4.13</a>, restart BOINC. or

3) If the current workunit fails to upload after completion, detach / reattach.
