I switched to the BOINC client a couple days ago, and am running it as a Service under XP. It ssems to be running ok, but... Unfortunately, there is no BOINC icon displayed in the Task Bar. How can I determine the status of my model run (e.g. % complete)? Thanks, /Don |

Use something like <a href="http://boincview.amanheis.de/">BOINCView</a>. It can also track/control multiple hosts. <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/dlihooya/logo/logo.htm"><IMG SRC="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/cpdn/stats.php?userID=64&trans=off"></A> |

Is there any documentation on BOINCView? The FAQ appears to be written for experienced users. If we need to use add-on programs to perform such a simple task, then it appears that switching to BOINC was a step backwards from this user's perspective. /Don |

After this is finished, all installations will install the CLI and the GUI. It should be the case (I haven't seen it, so I don't know) that percentages and such are displayed in the GUI even if the CLI is installed as a service. I hope that it will be able to control multiple installations. <a href="http://www.boinc.dk/index.php?page=user_statistics&project=cpdn&userid=13"><img border="0" height="80" src="http://13.cpdn.sig.boinc.dk?188"></a> |
