Question 2: when the WU was terminated and uploaded, besides uploading the result, it downladed a new model along with ver 4.04
My question is: why my desktop which is processing a WU did not attempt to download v.4.04 when it reported the last trickle 2 days ago? all this considering that v.4.04 is out since Sept. 29....

I can't answer your question 1.

Q2: With BOINC, a new CP model version isn't downloaded when a model trickles, only when a complete new model is downloaded.
