CP errors all the time.

It started recently. I thought it might have to do with my upgrade from 4.09 to 4.13

But I downgraded and it still does that.

I dont know whats the problem, but it only started recently (after the new version of hadsm was released). So I suspect it. I had a WU I worked on for quite a while when it first errored, since then it downloaded several new WU as replacement and they all errored after only a few hours.

I did notice that it usually errors while my computer is EXTREMLY overloaded by a heavy program that is running, I wonder if this has anything to do with it (its very heavy on HDD access especially, but it access a different HDD)

What errors are you getting? Any information in the CP stderr.txt file(s)?

I should have clarified.
The errors are actually noticeable through a popup box that says something failure. I think runtime or some such (dont remember) with extra details. It will add to this box a certain line over and over again over time as it continually fails, at that point I have to terminate BOINC with alt-ctrl-del, and then in addition terminate hadsm because it doesnt close with boinc.
This happened while I had a very HDD intensive software running from my E drive (which normally only boinc runs from, C is for windows, D is for HDD intensive p2p programs, E is for games and boinc and some movies)

Hi, at first I want to beg your pardon for my plain English.
I received the error message above all the time (appr. for 1 month). I changed the settings of my RAM to normal (Cas Latency 2.5 at 400 Mhz). After that my temperatures decreased about 5 to 10 degrees and I got no more errors. There is also no lower performance. At last some system stats: Asus a7n8x 2.0, Corsair RAM with AMD ATHLON 3000+ (oc at 3200+)
