I had problems with my PC and the i decided to go with a formatting of the system... i saved the BOINC folder and, after the reinstallation of the system, copied that over the original one...but now i can\'t start climateprediction anymore because when i try i get this error:

climateprediction.net - 2004-10-28 20:11:58 - Message from server: No work available (there was work but you don\'t have enough disk space allocated)

I HAVE more than enough disk space(1GB for BOINC) and the folders are not read-only...what can i do?

In 'general preferences' make sure that as well as allocating sufficient space, the percentage allowed to BOINC is sufficient.

Check down the page whether you have other preferences set for home/work/school. If you do, delete them or make sure they also meet the requirements for CPDN.

Simply resetting preferences may work. Increasing the percentage of space allocated to BOINC seems to help particularly. You can always reduce the figure later and see whether it matters.

Check the size of your BOINC folder. You should try and have 700MB spare for CPDN, and if you have failed CPDN WUs the folder for those may still be in the projects directory. These can be deleted, though you should try and keep the folder for completed models if possible. You could always transfer these to CD/DVD.

There are other threads discussing this which you could read if you are still having problems.
