My project was runinng with no problems for about 185 cpu hours.
Last week one window with a fatal error goes on screen, error tells something like \" .... fortran error .... unspected space on file ....\" and program aborted.
Restarting BOINC a different error was on:

Forrtl: severe (24) end-of-file during read, unit 2, file D:\\BOINC\\projects\\climateprediction.net\\35z2_100169198\\jobs\\yabsd.PRESM_A

After that error no way to restartproject.
To days after a new project was downloaded and running.
Has anyone get something like this?

Notes:
my other two boinc projects, seti@home and lhc@home, works fine.
my computer is Atlon XP 1700+ with 512 Mb of ram.

Win98 should be OK, it sounds like a file error, i.e. perhaps this file got corrupted somehow. Another big problem is with virus protection programs that sometimes get in and interfere with Fortran file I/O and can cause this kind of error.

BOINC is runing under WXP + SP2.
May be antivirus lock acces to file while CPDN was on a middle I/O operation.

I had the same problem, with winXP pro corp SP2.

Several times. I read others who had the same problem, everywhere I go I see that problem. It only started about a few weeks ago (prolly with the latest version of hadsm) and has been so bad that i and others were forced to detach from climate prediction.
