is any version of boinc supposed to work any project
may use the 4.13 fron seti ?
i\'ve download the 4.13 from seti
unzupped it but when i\'ve tried it just told :
another instance of boinc is running
but the 4.09 start with no visible probleme...
a\'m not familliar with unix so i don\'t know what wrong

i still have some probleme with viz from the 4.09 version someone did answered my mail but i don\'t really
unserstand what i\'m suppose to do with it

You can only run a single instance of BOINC. Most people seem to be running 4.13 and CPDN without a problem. You want to stop your 4.09 version and take a copy of your BOINC directory in case there's a problem with the upgrade. Then replace your 4.09 version with 4.13 and start the new version. It should work straight away, but if not all you need to do is stop the new version and restore your copy.
