Help needed. Running FreeBSD 4.10, with the Linux ABI enabled. Note that my personal site shows a Linux 2.4 kernel, but has -0 MB of memory and 0 swap. Actual is 512 MB of memory and 2 GB swap. FreeBSD install requires: (with V4.09) Linux_base-8 for the Linux ABI. Lower versions are missing a libgcc element. Download boinc and the climate executable, then: For both executables brandelf -t Linux [executable name] then run boinc. At this point the downloads show errors and loop getting another download, until it hits this loop which runs for days without finding any work: 2004-11-08 08:02:25 [---] Insufficient work; requesting more 2004-11-08 08:02:25 [climateprediction.net] Requesting 17277 seconds of work 2004-11-08 08:02:25 [climateprediction.net] Sending request to scheduler: http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi 2004-11-08 08:02:26 [climateprediction.net] Scheduler RPC to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi succeeded 2004-11-08 08:02:26 [climateprediction.net] Message from server: No work available (daily quota exceeded) 2004-11-08 08:02:26 [climateprediction.net] Message from server: No work available (daily quota exceeded) 2004-11-08 08:02:26 [climateprediction.net] No work from project 2004-11-08 08:02:26 [climateprediction.net] No work from project 2004-11-08 08:02:26 [climateprediction.net] Deferring communication with project for 1 hours, 0 minutes, and 0 seconds 2004-11-08 08:02:26 [climateprediction.net] Deferring communication with project for 1 hours, 0 minutes, and 0 seconds |
