I lost about 20 % of whetstones, from ca. 2550 to 1995.

Typical? Avoidable and if so, how?

Apparently typical, Otter. My three Linux boxes (HT P4's) lost about 1/3 moving from 4.09 to 4.13. I don't know how that happens but it is known that HT CPUs are rated below par (even after adding the two 'halves' together).

There is no impact on CPDN credit, but it may make a mess of credits for other projects.
