I have no ifcore_msg.cat nor any other messages that I can locate where I installed CPDN Boinc. I tried restarting but still get the same errors.

I am running Redhat Fedora core 1 with many of the updates except to the X11 system and an running kernel 2.4.22-1.2188. The Processor is an AMD M2500 clocked to about 2300 +/- (I can't remember the exact number), 1Gb Ram, ~ 40Gb available on partition with CPDN. The system crashed in the morning will the sun is shining into my appartment and heat could have been an issue though the processor runs fine normally at 57C. I don't have temperature logging software installed under Linux yet.

I will switch this PC back to windows till we can come up with a solution.

Same Problem for me on a AMD Duron Processor. No overclocking. Linux Kernel 2.4.20.
Do you need some more informations?

how did you solve the problem?
I get this error:

too.

System:
AMD Duron 1.3 ghz
256 MB RAM

Gentoo Linux with kernel 2.6.9 (development-sources if anyone cares)
boinc_4.13_i686-pc-linux-gnu from the seti-boinc download site.


Please, what yould it be?

I couldn't solve the problem. And because nobody could answer this question / solve this problem until now, I deleted the model from my machine. :(

I wasn't able to solve it either and as I had dual boot have just continued with Windows versions while doing other work with the Linux boot.

There may be other threads that can help, sorry that I couldn't.
