Just wanting to alert you to a couple of cpdn-related things. One is the recent publication of a paper by Peter Stott, Daithi Stone and Myles Allen on the partial attribution of the summer 2003 heatwave to greenhouse gas emissions - see http://news.google.com/?hl=en&ncl=http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A26605-2004Dec1.html and links therein.

Another - possibly more interesting to long-time BOINCers is the climateprediction.net distributed computing post advertised at http://www.climateprediction.net/project/jobs.php This post requires someone to work primarily on the DC aspects of climateprediction.net, though there will be lots of overlap with the work on both the client (experimental preparation) and the server (development of federated server structure). Applications very welcome!
