i running under linux os but i cannot run the 4.13 in fact i cannot run anything now i tried in the past to run 4.13 after i installed 4.09 and then 4.13 but i had the message 'another instance of boinc is running' so this time i delete all the directory and sub-directory of boinc and the i tried to run 4.13 and i still have the same error message so has i don't have the 4.09 anymore ... does any one has an idea about this problem |

if you ran the process in the background, then you have to manage it manually. do a ps -aux | grep boinc* get the proc. id and kill then boinc process. |

I tryed in the pass to restart the computer before i lauch the 'new' boinc and i still had the same message, but the date which change : '2004-12-08 10:07:17 [---] Another instance of BOINC is running' |
