How do I issue an "Update" command from the BOINC client?

Open the BOINC window (double click on the blue disk with yellow B in your taskbar, or right click and select 'show').

Go to the projects tab, click, and right click on the climateprediction line - you will see it there.

NB, update will only communicate with the CPDN server, and send any trickles etc (unless you have a firewall blocking that). It will not update the BOINC client - you have to download the new version and install that yourself. Yes, it is not obvious.

Be sure that the BOINC program is stopped then install de new version over it and restrt BOINC again, that will do it.
To be certain make a copy from the BOINC dir so you can always go back when something is going wrong.
