Just to let those interested know that the climate prediction program does not work well with ATI's 9600 All-In-Wonder T.V. capabilities. I assume this might be the case with other ATI cards capable of T.V. reception.
The computer will get sluggish intermittently when the T.V. and Climate Prediction are running at the same time. After a while, the computer will lock up and the Climate Prediction files will become corrupt causing the program to get a new assignment well before the current one is completed.
ATI's T.V. drivers also conflict with the Genome@Home projects.
The only project that isn't affected by all this is the United Devices agent. UD by far has the best stability of any research program currently out there.
