I appologize if this is not the right forum to ask this question.

One of my hard drives was failing so I backed it up and replaced it. When I started boinc the model started at the 0 timestep insead some were in the 21 thousand step (were it was when I backed up the drive)... . Is this going to cause a problem with the model? should I reset the project and start a new model?

Any advice would be apreciated

I would just let it run. It should eventually get caught back up and finish. The down side of this is that until it catches up you will not get any more credit.
