i just joint CPDN and i am wondering how long a timestep is ?

I guess this depends on my computer, but can anybody give me a clue of how long (in minutes) a timestep is on a P4 2.5 ? This is important to me because at moment i am running seti aswell and need to know what time to set for switching applications. I have read that CPDN saves it's work every 144 timesteps.

Regards

On a P4 2.5 GHz, one would think less than 2.5 sec/ts, but it will depend on your configuration. Run it for awhile and it will tell you how many sec/ts in the visualization. I believe you would not have to worry about that if you have checked "Leave applications in memory while pre-empted" in your general preferences.
