hope you can help? just completed a clean install of x.p. with all updates including sp.2 first thing i installed is boinc 4.13 (latest version i could easily find 4.14?) logged on to all predictor, LHC, seti and then C.P. no work from the first 3 yet but got work from c.p. straight away. as soon as it was all downloaded it died. hadsm3um_4.04_windows_intelx86.exe needs to close................ anyone have this problem? cheers for help in advance |

jaysback start by refering to the question just before yours, headed Boinc 4.14 and read the threads. Some projects seem to need 4.14, others not. If 4.14 causes you problems with some projects, you may have to separate them onto two computers, one running 4.13, the other 4.14 If you mean that you are running 4.13, then more info may be needed. cheers les. i have just put 4.15 in and that pretty much killed it. FORTRAN RUN-TIME ERROR input output 152 file does not exist... luckily i made a backup b4 switching over. i think what i will do is just forget about CP and stick with all the other projects. seti and predictor have been running all night with no issues at all. shame as it was nice to have a big WU like CP just incase boinc had a lot of downtime.... cheers j |
