It was a pleasant surprise to see Dr Ellie Highwood of Reading University on tonight's UK Channel 4 documentary about Krakatoa. Not about global warming, of course, but more informative than many documentaries, with some astonishing archive material.

I'm glad you enjoyed the program. I watched it from behind a cushion in case they'd mangled too much of what I said. Of course I did about 6 hours worth of filming including lots of science to camera which was never shown, but on the whole it was a much better experience than other people have had. The company that produced it are called Pioneer TV and I was very impressed with them.

Hopefully my next TV appearance will be climateprediction.net related when we launch the new sulphur cycle (or global dimming) experiment in the not too distant future.
