Try downloading boinc oncemore from cpdn. Install into a new directory and try running again. Also check your system logs for clues. If you get repeat errors, then time to check further... Wild guesses: File and directory permissions correct? Are you overclocking or running hot? Does your system check out ok with Memtest86 and the GIMPS mprime 'torture test'? Have you compiled the source with over-agressive or experimental compiler options? Good luck, Martin |

I've seen thousands of bad results with "error -185" and I haven't yet identified this problem. My assumption is it's a Linux installation's libraries (i.e. glibc libraries) that aren't compatible or conflict with either our boinc build or the hadsm3* climate model/monitor programs. |
