I looked at my BOINC projects today and saw that the CPDN had finished but was still sitting on my machine. I updated with CPDN and then went and checked on my score. I had recieved about 7500 pts since I last checked it a few days ago. Is this normal for CPDN to hand out large amount of pts or os this a glitch in the update process on BOINC?

Albeit, there are participants suggesting that some extra credit for successful completing of model should apply.

It is a normal glitch. There is a credit correction process that runs on the server and should adjust your credit within a day or so. The RAC will still be screwed up though.
