THE PROGRAM IS OVERRUNNING MY WORK HOURS AND BRINGING SOME WORK TO A VIRTUAL STOP. HOW DO I RESET THE PREFERENCES FOR THIS? THANKS |

1. Go to 'Your account' (from the menu on the left) and select 'View or edit general preferences'. 2. Select 'Edit preferences'. 3. Change 'Do work while computer is in use'. 4. Click on 'Update preferences'. |

Click on 'Update preferences'. That option doesn't work reliably (if at all), Andrew. There's a problem with the BOINC activity detection that means project continue running. The active time period option works fine, so it's better to use that for now. Suspending BOINC works too, but that means you need to remember to resume it every time you stop working.
