I've seen other PDP work and this interface diesn't seem like it's doing anything. In my work label it doesn't show that I've done any. What should I do? |

Is there nothing in the work tab? If so this would suggest that you have not attached to the project. Use setting, attach to project and enter URL and account ID provided in the email. Or are you saying that climateprediction.net is in the work tab but stays stubbornly at 0.00%? Visit BOINC WIKI for help And join BOINC Synergy for all the news in one place. |

(this is all new and alien to me right now). it shows two lines in the work section -- neither have cpu time; one has no time to completion and says running. the other has a time to completion, says ready to run, and has for a few days. (first day ive had time to investigate this). there is only one line under "projects" (i assume this means i've only attached one project?) whats going on? |

Hmm. "schedule cpus_must schedule" is normal and is a process that BOINC does. Can you exit BOINC and make sure there is no HadSM3 process running, then restart BOINC. If the CPU time does not start to increase can you post all your messages since the restart. _______________________________ Visit BOINC WIKI for help And join BOINC Synergy for all the news in one place. |

(cable modem, so connection is not really an issue -- it always says connected to localhost on BOINC). did i forget to download something? : D |

How have you got your general preferences set up (see Your account in left menu) Does it include Do work while computer is in use? yes Do work only between the hours of (no restriction) If so, then I am struggling to think what the problem is. Since there appears there would not be any time wasted, I would suggest a project reset or even a detatch and reattach. (To be sure about not wasting time you might want to see if you have any 28eiaa.p* files in your BOINC directory or sub directories. If such files exist, this may establish the computation was proceeding and the only problem is with the display of progress.) _______________________________ Visit BOINC WIKI for help And join BOINC Synergy for all the news in one place. |

Your 1st model failed due to the missing files problem. Have you fixed this, as per this thread? |
