Hallo,
I am a new user and try to run BOINC 4.13 and
cp hadsm3 4.04
However, after 2 to 4 minutes the whole system freezes or
in some cases, if i am running a system monitoring program only the processing of hadsm3 4.04 stops with
everey time same error message in the debugger:

0084B1B9 fmul dword ptr [edi+ecx*4-4]


I am running win xp pro,
and AMD athlon 3200+ , 512 MB RAM

Is there anybody who can help ?
I didn't find an answer to my question in this help desk .

I don't know that error message from your debugger but you could try installing <a href="http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php">BOINC v4.19</a>. Don't uninstall v4.13, just install v4.19 in the same directory as v4.13 and it'll upgrade itself.

Your results are showing exit status -5 so you may want to look at

o.k.
I reduced my overclocking rate and in result cpu-temperature decreased too.
Process has been running now for more than 2 houres .. :-)
Perhaps I have to improove the CPU-cooling to proceed the project.
