It would be nice if you could display on one webpage all the threads that you've subscribed to. This allowing you to unsubscribe or just find things again quickly that interested you like a favorities.

I like the feature of seeing all the posts you've done :)

Perhaps, you can already do this but I've not noticed it.

Any other suggestions?

Let the phpBB forum live again - that would be my answer.
Sure, list of subscribed threads would be nice...

I'll second that. Far superior to this board...

A suggestion:
The search site link at the top of each page doesn't produce much in the way of results.
There is this link <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_text_search_form.php">keyword search</a> in the start page of the message boards, which does give results.
I've already talked about it in <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=1708">this thread</a>.
I think that should be used for the search box on the forum.
And again, It should really be a box, not a link (much more user-friendly, we are creatures of habit).

Absolutely agree. I wonder what the status of the security issue is. I've been around several other phpBB boards lately without getting a hint of an issue?

In a previous thread: Main CPDN boards down?, Thyme Lawn posted <a href='http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=1405174#1405174'> this link</a>

It now displays a 1 page explanation.

Also, in the December issue of Linux Format, there is a 5 page article on a new version of PHP: version 5.

Perhaps the programmers are working on evaluating this, and doing a big upgrade from V4.n

Not a good news at this time; actually a very bad news - sounds like another prolonging outage of phpBB forum...
