Hi, I've got 2 computers running climate, one at home and other at school. Last December i formated my computer at home, and since then, in my statistics of Climate it shows that i have 3 computers: 2 at home and one at school. When i go to "Merge this computer" on the oldest home-computer, there's not any other computer to merge with. What should i do? Thanks Edmon PD: Sorry for my English, because i'm Spanish ;-) |

You have to do the merge on your newer home computer Edmon, but it may not be possible as they show up as different CPU types. "The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer |

Was the second computer created using the same version of BOINC as the first one? The way the CPU type is recorded has been changed a few times in BOINC. I'm sure that Berkeley have valid reasons for doing it, but ... > It's the same computer, formated as always, with the same OS. > If i can't merge that computer, it will be there as long i'm in Climate? As far as I'm aware yes. "The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer |
