I said "no" originally so have no way of knowing is the thing's running and working. (a) I assume the screen saver offered will show that there is activity? (b) How can I now add the screen saver option? Eric D (Birmingham UK) |

>I assume the screen saver offered will show that there is activity? Yes it would but it also can slow down the computation a lot depending on your graphics card. If the purpose is to see if there is activity, then it is better to look at the graphics. Right click on climateprediction.net in the work tab and this gives a show graphics option. This is better than the screensaver as (a) it is interactive, press h for help and (b) you can look at it only when you want Maybe someone else will answer (b). > Maybe someone else will answer (b). If you really want to use the BOINC screen saver you'll need to copy the file boinc.scr from your BOINC directory to your winnt directory. You'll then be able to select it from the list in display properties. "The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer |
