When I've changed my preferences at the web and saved them, I get the message: "Your preferences have been updated. They will take effect when your computer communicates with climateprediction.net or you issue the "Update" command from the BOINC client." I could'nt fint the "update" command in the boinc client (the window that pops up when I click the tray icon). Therefore I have 2 questions: 1. How do I issue the "Update" command? 2. If I don't issue the "Update" command, approximately how long does it take until my computer communicates with with climateprediction.net and the preferences are updated. |

Hello and welcome Fetjocke, Rightclick in the 'projects' tab on the project and chose 'update' or 'update (retry now...)', depending what happened with last update. A good Manual for all Boinc proojects is Paul d. Bucks place: Manual FAQ Grüße vom Sänger |

(It wasn't really intuitive how to find the "update" =) |
