My machine is running BOINC under my username (administrator account - Windows XP Pro). Is it possible to get my WU to continue running when someone else is logged on to my machine? If so, what do I need to do?

You have to run it as a service, go to "http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/quick_faq.php" there you find something like Running BOINC as a service, read it and do it and you'll have what you want.

Thats great, it works fine now. Thanks. Is there any way to see the status of the WU as I no longer have access to the GUI or the project window.

I think you can use <a href="http://boincview.amanheis.de/">BOINCView</a> to view the progress.

Sure not too fancy but maybe it's sufficient :-)
