I tried to change my prefs to download more than one wu but no luck. It\'s needed for me since I can\'t have the machines on constant internet connection and I\'m often away for 1-2 weeks at work. |

Check, how long your actual WU will take to finish. And check, how your queue is configured. The next WU should be downloaded, if the rest of crunching time of the actual WU will below the low watermark setting. |

Thanks Yeti, The actual WU will be finished in 23 days. I tried to set 'keep enough work on disk' on 90 and 150 days and then also changed diskspace and the other things. |

Well, the current model crashed while not connected and says 'deferring communication with project for 1 days 16 hours. No help with running it with -update_prefs URL, just refuses to connect. So I ended up with a new install of the whole thing. Not OK I think. |

'Tis a boinc idiocy -- designed for the convenience/arrogance of a SETI project with an excess of users (and carried over to other projects). We're suposed to lap it up and like it. Duplicated post! Wunnerfulness! Great feature to promote the efficacy of this . . . low-end BB (to be charitable)when project decisions are pending. ________________________________________________ It is impossible to enjoy idling thoroughly unless one has plenty of work to do. -- Jerome K. Disgusting, actually. Errrmmmm. How so? Perhaps a thought should be given as to why he wasn't connecting rather than labling it a BOINC idiocy. I have read a couple posts about people not being able to connect. The project URL had changed or something? |

They will download a ton of WUWUs and you will not be able to keep up with the deadlines......If I am read you right on the 90 and 150 days entry. This 'SPACE' Rented.
