If you wish, you can reassign WU <a href="//climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=4652">4652</a> to another computer. I lost this WU after BOINC_GUI had crashed (for an unknown reason). At the time of the crash, the Client_state.xml file was corrupted. I had to attach again the project.

The status in your server for this WU is still "In progress" even if I lost all data of this WU in my computer.

it looks like WUs are cancelled from different reasons. With the very long deadlines, it will take quit a long time until you resubmit these WUs.

Are you interested to get a message like this one to resubmit such WUs ?

Or do you make a check based on received trickles and we, the user, don't need to take care of this WUs ? (Hm, trickles will be difficult, I have 1 WU in cache, that will start crunching in round about 3 weeks ...)

Perhaps the solution to this issue is simply to add a checkbox (in the "Your Account&gt;Results&gt;{WU#}" webpage) to release manually the WU.
