My computer has now completed a second experiment both of which are refusing to upload. I cannot download another experiment for some reason. It looks like there's something seriously wrong here, Pete. According to your stats your single CPU AMD system has been allocated <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/results.php?hostid=46215">47 models in 3 days</a>, but there's supposed to be a daily limit of 4 models! It looks like every time your system requests work the server is allocating the work but either it's never being sent to you or BOINC is failing to parse the response from CPDN. What version of BOINC are you running? Your failure to upload results is likely to be because BOINC is trying to send them to the server that's <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=1963">currently down</a>. Has there been any change to your firewall settings (possibly as the result of installing an update) that might block incoming traffic to BOINC? How does the timestamp for the sched_reply_climateprediction.net.xml file in your BOINC directory relate to the one for sched_request_climateprediction.net.xml? If the reply is older it would indicate that the response to your request isn't reaching BOINC, otherwise it's down to BOINC not parsing the reply correctly (which is currently under investigation by the BOINC development team). Hi! Firewall was blocking outgoing traffic until about a month ago, but BOINC allowed free access since then. As to the files in the BOINC directory, checking gives th following: sched_reply xml doc is dated 12.01.2005 sched-request xml doc is dated 13.01.2005 sched_request_climateprediction.net xml doc is dated 26.02.2005 sched_reply_climateprediction.net xml doc is not present in the directory. My guess is that you're being hit by the problem of trying to upload too many trickles in one hit (<a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=1887">see this thread</a>). Check the number of trickle_up_*.xml files in your projects/climateprediction.net directory. I reckon with your 2 models to upload you've got at least 50 trickles still to return (plus any the scheduler has already accepted). If this is the case what you need to do is create a directory and move all but, say, 30 of the trickle_up_*.xml files into that directory, do an update (which should succeed and remove the files you left), then move the other files back in batches of 30 followed by an update each time.
