When are you going to fix this problem. The whgole point of your system is to be able to run when my system is idle. A password lock is an absolute requirement. There is no point running this until you get it fixed. |

This would probably have to be in BOINC. BOINC is written at Berkeley Uni in California, so you should complain to them. Les |

Run BOINC but do not run it as a screen saver. Run your preferred screen saver with the password lock feature enabled. If you are running a Windows machine then use the "blank" screen saver and enable password protection. The "blank" screen saver does not consume much CPU which leaves more for BOINC. Set your BOINC preferences to run when idle. It will run behind the screen saver. Try to be less critical until it has been clearly demonstrated that there is a problem that cannot be resolved. |
